The LS3/5A is an absolute classic in the world of speakers. Manufactured according to BBC standards, this monitor is still very popular today. With the LS5/19, we were able to create a successor which features a similar setup and dimensions. However, it was never intended to be just a copy. Instead, it is supposed to be an independent system with linear tuning and an up-to-date, modern speaker. Christian Gather who was the editor of Klang+Ton at the time has further refined its original acoustic tuning.
