The PSM8WJB is a unidirectional, addressable condenser paging microphone for PRIMA-VA systems.
It features eight zone selection buttons and a slim gooseneck microphone, combining durability with an attractive design in a robust housing.
The PSM8WJB enables live announcements and playback of recorded messages in all pre-assigned zones. The paging station features a gooseneck microphone, a push-to-talk button, zone selection buttons, and a monitor loudspeaker. Each button can represent either an individual zone or a group of zones and can be easily assigned in the software using a straightforward matrix selection. All buttons can be programmed via drag-and-drop functions in the software, and each button can be configured for either PTT (push-to-talk) or latching operation.
In accordance with BS 5839, the PSM8WJB is monitored via RS-485. The RS-485 communication protocol allows units to be daisy-chained over distances of up to 300 m using a single CAT 5 cable (FTP/STP). Each station can be easily connected using standard RJ45 connectors and the junction box supplied with the PSM8WJB.
